North Lake Minister Search
Our church is currently seeking a bi-vocational minister to do God's work in Leesburg, Florida. We would like to have an enthusiastic spiritual leader with a heart for everyone and a love for Christ. We are looking for a person that has a passion for community connectedness. We are a progressive congregation with members from various Christian backgrounds who enjoy family style worship and open fellowship. Our congregation is made up of a wide range of ages from infants to grandparents. Our average number of regular attendees is approximately 35-40 people and growing. Our services are con- temporary in nature, while staying true to honoring Christ in all things we do. Our worship center is equipped to serve with a multipurpose sanctuary/ fellowship hall, and several youth and children’s rooms as well. Our sanctuary can accommodate approx. +\-100 people and is furnished with an up-to -date sound booth. Our services primarily take place on Sunday morning with a Wednesday bible study class at the building. Compensation will be provided and will need to be negotiated and discussed with church leader- ship. The Minister will work with the Leadership Team to oversee the operation and ministry of the church.

Working Conditions:
As a bi-vocational minister we recognize this is a part time position. Our expectation would be that you would serve 15-20 hrs. per week on ministry work. This might look like the following:
- 3 hrs. on Sunday Morning
- 2 hrs. on Wed. evening
- 8-10 hrs. of office time per week
- 3-5 hrs. of community/church membership outreach

Pastoral Responsibilities:
- To oversee the administration and management of all areas of the congregation's ministry in consultation with the
Leadership Team. - To support and assist the ministry leaders who have primary responsibility in the ministries of education, youth,
children, and outreach. - To build a sense of team-work among church volunteers meetings to coordinate the ministries of the church and
facilitate communication.
Worship:
- To regularly preach and teach the Word of God.
- To be present at all church services and events required
- To plan and direct the overall worship experience
- To officiate at special services such as weddings, funerals, etc.
Pastoral Responsibilities:
- To love and care for our church members as all Christians should, through visitation and prayer.
- To make appropriate referrals when necessary and quickly respond to crisis situations which arise in the congregation.
- To join the teaching rotation for Adult or Youth classes.
- To equip the membership/citizenship for personal evangelism and outreach.
- To perform outreach in the community.
Qualifications and Skills:
Compensation:
- Compensation will be provided based within budgetary limits. This is not considered a full time position and a bi-vocational ministry may be best.
- Biblical requirements for the position of Minister can be found in scriptures from Titus 1, 1 Timothy 1, and 1 Peter 5
- Applicants will need to undergo a criminal background check and interviews with our church leadership. Applicants may be asked for multiple interviews and to speak for our congregation during the interview process. Our church is confident that God will provide the correct person for this position and even possibly through this ad.
